A matter of interest to the State which will be paid close attention to. I’ll be following any developments regarding this situation.

One thing I will say is that the current race between [G.Baker] and [OliviaZhao] piques my interest. I will be inviting both candidates to my office for a discussion on their plans should they win a council seat. It is important that the State forms and maintains good working relations with local governments.

[SophieWu] wants to portray herself as someone who stands up for people's rights, but I haven't seen her care about anything for a long time up until the elections were announced. She demands explanations, yet never sought them out, like when I explained various positions of mine at the events we've hosted at the Republican Party's Headquarters. The Democratic Party works off of fearmongering; creating pretentious arguments to scare people. Throughout my entire political career, I have worked to celebrate diversity and have ensured that not only my office, but my party and caucus was inclusive to all creeds, races, religions, and backgrounds. In fact, the Republican Party contains the first Lieutenant Governor who is a Muslim. Our interim Chairman is an openly gay man as well, pushed and endorsed by myself. Your lies and slander will never win, and truly, I am disappointed to see this. I've supported our vibrant and diverse Asian communities as well, and have passed legislation for them. In fact, I stood besides you that night, along with your husband, Mister Wu, at the Asian Community Center. How about we move away from baseless slander and focus more on what actual policy is to be brought forth, because right now? I'm seeing none of it.

I believe it is most important to determine the cause of this issue so that it can be rectified and we can mitigate any further occurrences of this kind. Thank you, miss Rajkumar, for doing what is right for our schools.

With regards to the immediate issue at hand regarding Davis High, Mayor Preston is actively working towards granting the necessary funds that the high school requires. Local entities which are publicly funded, such as our Educational Institutions, must request the necessary budget from the City's government. All such public agencies or publicly funded entities follow the same protocol. In this instance, it appears that there has not been any request communicated to the Mayor's administration. Despite this, we are and have always been committed to ensuring a strong and well-equipped education system. I have full faith that the Preston administration will work to see this issue resolved, and to reiterate the importance of communication with the appropriate High School figures.
