On the 28th of September 2023, a uniformed Gruppe 6 Security Officer was arrested for the murder of a Los Santos Sheriff's Department Detective. We can confirm that the shooter is currently in custody and has been arrested and is being charged with Capital Murder. Our Station Detectives are working alongside the Homicide Bureau to gather all the details behind the shooting and release a full statement regarding the shooting. #LSSD

Today was business as usual for the Training Bureau at Fort Zancudo.

The newest batch of academy students learned the ropes of being a Law Enforcement Officer; Traffic and Felony Stops, Arrests, Frisks and Pursuits along with all the other knowledge they need to help protect the citizens of San Andreas and engaged in some Personal Training while they were at it.
We look forward to seeing our newest graduates at the Graduation ceremony!

Kudos to D.A Harper Meyer for launching the Justice System Integrity Division.

JSID focuses on investigating criminal conduct within our local criminal justice system. This program is a crucial step forward in our journey toward a better, safer, and more well-rounded criminal justice system.

I personally believe that initiatives like this are essential for ensuring transparency, accountability, and fairness for all individuals involved.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Division Chief Lena Yeon, 33 and Deputy Fire Marshal III Reece Turner, 31. Chief Yeon and Deputy Turner passed away after becoming distressed during a diving accident off the shore of Chumash Beach. We ask that you join us in keeping their families, friends, and coworkers in your thoughts and prayers as they work through their unimaginable loss and grief.

Flags will be flown at half mast at all SAN FIRE and LSFD facilities until after funeral proceedings and we thank our partner agencies for their support during this difficult time, the SAN FIRE Public Relations has released a commemorative Press Release in their memory.
