Through my investigation, I’ve uncovered that Judge Scherer has signed warrants for Detective Cirillo, including one just days after photos were taken showing their personal relationship. This information was not known publicly until now. These facts raise serious concerns about conflicts of interest and the fairness of our judicial process. The evidence we have includes photos showing a personal relationship between Judge Scherer and Detective Cirillo. The timing of the warrants, coupled with their personal relationship, calls into question the impartiality of the judicial process.

I didn’t make the decision to go public with this information lightly. I did it to protect our community and ensure our justice system is fair and unbiased. We need transparency and accountability to maintain public trust. Judge Scherer has stated she will cooperate with the investigation, which I welcome. We need to ensure justice is served without any doubt of bias or misconduct. This investigation is necessary to uphold the principles of justice and ensure that every decision made in our courts is beyond reproach.

I also want to acknowledge that this process can be difficult and feels like an attack on Judge Scherer personally. My intent is not to victimize or demonize anyone but to ensure that our judicial system operates with the highest level of integrity. While I care deeply for her son’s well-being, I also care for individuals who may have been wrongly prosecuted. If these warrants were signed out of malice or bias, it is our duty to address it.

It’s equally important that we do not overlook Detective Cirillo’s role in this situation. As a Narcotics Bureau detective, he is held to high standards of conduct, and any breach of these standards must be thoroughly investigated. We must also be mindful of how sexism can influence public perception and ensure that both parties are held accountable for their actions. This investigation is not just about one individual—I urge the public to remember that.

As your city councilor, I am committed to fighting corruption and standing up for the everyday citizens of Los Santos. I believe in supporting our law enforcement officers who serve with honor, but we must also ensure that no one is above the law. When people can skirt the rules due to personal relationships, our community suffers. I will continue to work tirelessly to protect the rights and trust of every citizen in Los Santos.

I also want to say that I know this situation has stirred strong emotions, but I urge everyone to avoid personal attacks against Judge Scherer or anyone else involved. It's hard to reach someone who seems to avoid public scrutiny and direct communication with the constituents he seeks to represent.

Furthermore, it's become increasingly apparent that Garrett Baker chooses to show up only during carefully staged PR events, where the tough questions are avoided and the real issues facing our community are left unaddressed. This selective visibility raises serious questions about his commitment to transparency and accountability. Is this the kind of leadership we want for our Central District? If Garrett is this silent now, when our community is looking for answers and direction, how can we expect him to act when he's in City Council?
