  • Busted! Suspects in relation to an LSPD Crime Broadcast for a shooting were spotted by Davis' Special Assignment Team in Grapeseed earlier this morning. The suspects fled on foot and were apprehended by quick thinking deputies. Within the vehicle, a duffle bag was under the seat of the vehicle; a GLOCK17 handgun and a 5.56mm M16A2 automatic assault rifle were found with hundreds of rounds of ammunition. The suspects were handed over to the LSPD unit that made the initial crime broadcast.

Forensics, tracing and an inspection of the 5.56mm M16A2 assault rifle lead to the conclusion that the rifle was originally used by the US Marine Corps during the 2003 Invasion of Iraq.

Two dangerous firearms have been taken off of our streets. #StreetsSafe

  • At around 3 PM today Deputies of the Los Santos Sheriff's Department responded to a call from a concerned citizen for a shooting that happened on Elgin Avenue by Legion Square.
Two individuals, a male and a female were found and pronounced deceased at the scene, just outside the doors of the lobby of an apartment complex. Without proper eye-witness accounts, we can only speculate a targeted attack against the two individuals.

The South-Bound lane of Elgin Avenue was closed for around an hour as Deputies and a Detective secured and documented the scene for further investigations. We apologize for any and all inconveniences caused.

The Los Santos Sheriff's Department urges citizens to remain vigilant and with personal safety in mind, please find safe shelter and dial 911 if possible with any and all information whenever a shooting occurs. We are also looking for witnesses to come forward with more information into the incident that happened today. Anonymity is guaranteed with statements and identities kept confidential.

Wishing all citizens the very best and be safe.

  • Earlier today at 08:00 24 March 2024, the Deputy Sheriffs of Davis Station were led on a dangerous chase by a pickup truck carrying two suspects around South Los Santos that lasted for around 30 minutes. The reckless driver eventually struck a pedestrian biking on the road at Charleston Projects before dropping off his accomplice at Strawberry Avenue. The accomplice, surrounded by Deputies decided to shoot at them with a Glock before attempting to steal a LSSD Buffalo housing a Canine unit. The accomplice was successfully and swiftly dispatched by the Deputies on scene.

Residents of the apartments may have heard sirens and disruptive sounds during the arrest, we are terribly sorry...
The right lane of Strawberry was temporarily closed due to the scene for 15 Minutes. We apologize for any and all inconveniences caused due to the road closure!

The Canine was found with his chew toy in his mouth mean-mugging our suspect. He was not harmed and given a pup cup later for his bravery.

  • 🚔🔒 Keeping Our Streets Safe 🚨👮‍♂️

A few days ago, deputies from the Los Santos Sheriff's Department's Central Patrol Division faced a harrowing and vicious attack while serving an arrest warrant. Namely, members of the Northside Longos 13 clashed with our deputies, threatening the very fabric of safety in our beloved city.

Yesterday, the Operation Safe Streets Bureau, in conjunction with the Special Assignments Team and the North County Crime Impact Team, took decisive action in response. We launched a targeted crime suppression operation in the area where this dangerous criminal gang operates, and thanks to the dedication and perseverance of our teams, the operation was a resounding success.

Multiple members of the Northside Longos 13 criminal gang were arrested, including those responsible for the cowardly attack that took place a few days prior. This should serve as a reminder: criminal activity will not be tolerated in our city, and those who endanger our residents and law enforcement officers will be held accountable and punished to the fullest extent of the law.
