- Today, June 2nd, 2025, marks the day that our Gang Impact Team Coordinator, Lieutenant Qahtani resigns from the Los Santos Police Department. He was instrumental in building the Gang Enforcement Detail up into what it is today, because of his inspiring work ethic and attitude.
Lieutenant Qahtani got his start as a gang officer in 2010. In 2014, Qahtani joined the GED command structure as a senior gang officer. Not long after, in 2017, Qahtani became a Sergeant. Qahtani would eventually end up as officer-in-charge, and later coordinator as a Lieutenant.
LSPD's Gang Enforcement Detail wishes Qahtani the best in his future endeavors, and will miss him sorely. He inspired many to join the detail, and trained many to become great gang officers in their own right.

- Today the Gang Enforcement Detail will say goodbye to one of it's most tenured and respected Officers. Officer Peter Callahan began his service with the Los Santos Police Department in 2014, during his time in the department he spent two years in the Mission Row Division, regularly being praised for being a good partner to have by your side during night shifts.
In 2016, Officer Callahan made the decision to switch to the LSPD's Gang Enforcement Detail as a Probationary Gang Officer, it was immediately apparent he was a good fit for the detail with his personable nature and proactive policing methods. He quickly ascended to an exceptional Field Training Officer, helping train and prepare the Officers you see daily on the streets. One of Peter's most impactful achievements was spear-heading a major gang injunction along Magellan Avenue in April 2024, which assisted both LSPD and LSSD assets in enforcing crime within some of the most dangerous neighborhoods in Los Santos.
Officer Callahan's impact on the Department and the Detail are massive, whether he was taking harmful narcotics off the streets, firearms, or just speaking to the local communities of which he was assigned, he was a constant positive asset to have on the team and will be sorely missed in the Department.
We speak on behalf of the Department as a whole when we say we wish Peter all the best in his future endeavors and plans, and he will always be welcome back in the Castle at any time.
Thank you for everything, Peter. You are end of watch.Today the Gang Enforcement Detail will say goodbye to one of it's most tenured and respected Officers.
