On January 8 2022, as the clock struck 7 PM the doors were open to the public and what can only be described as a sea of people flooded the gallery eager to see the exposition. The Grand Opening Exhibition, which focused on a special celebration held to mark the opening of Croq-A-Hoop alongside to showcase 6 paintings of Adina Aliyeva was open to the public with approximately 90 people were in attendance.

During the exhibition, attendees were invited to explore the work of Adina Aliyeva and enjoy food and refreshments at the venue. People from every corner of the state attended this event from well-known artists Miss. Evelyn Valentine Amongst them, To members of the press and even people from the least savory parts of town. With such a great variety of people came different views on the art exposed at that day, it is noteworthy pointing out that the painting known as “Sin” sparked much debate and discussion amongst all present.

Croq-A-Hoop's Director, Adam Bramasta; and Croq-A-Hoop's Manager, Anna Lee were on hand to open the exhibition, guide the attendees through the gallery and answer general queries about the concept on display and establishment itself. They worked with the member of the Department of Cultural Affairs to organise the event. Adina Aliyeva was present and was able to answer any questions that the public had about her artwork using their vast expertise and knowledge in the field.

The gallery remained full for the 2 hours it was open to the point where merely walking without bumping into someone was hard. In a city where clubs and bars are all that matters to its citizens this safe to say that on the 8th of January art was the true victor. The opening day can only be described as an astonishing success with great competence from attending staff, the security team, and the photographers.
