The Coleman Fund is no more, as it now becomes The Coleman LaBelle Fund. Renaming it is something I’ve been meaning to do for quite some time. The dedication shown by Faith LaBelle to the Fund since its conception has been frankly outstanding. More recently through my sickness, Faith has helped me tremendously all while carrying the Fund on her back, amongst her several other businesses. She in every way exemplifies Black Excellence as Save South Central rightly awarded her.
The LaBelle name belongs at the core of the fund, her resilience, optimism and leadership are all qualities that are synonymous in those that we aim to help, she’s a minority voice that inspires and her name deserves to be honored in such a manner. I’d like to give her my thanks from the bottom of my heart, and look forward to expanding the Fund alongside her as we slowly rebrand and push things forward once more.
Our website and such will be updated in the coming days! #TCLF
