LSPD NEWS: At 9:52 PM last night, the San Andreas Air National Guard scrambled two F-16's to intercept a rogue aircraft. At 10:20 PM, following numerous orders to land in the half-hour prior, the Air National Guard fired upon the rogue aircraft over an un-populated area of Los Santos County. (EDIT 03/OCT/2024 04:02: The aircraft that fired the missile was a helicopter, not a F-16)
The LSPD was on stand-by at Los Santos International Airport, and Air Base Zancudo to apprehend the pilots if they were to have landed, and mobilized from these positions to the crash site.
Two fatalities were confirmed, the Pilot & Copilot. A statement was given to on-scene media, but we will refrain from any further releases & defer to our partners at the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department, SANGUARD, the Department of Homeland Security, and the San Andreas Aviation Authority, the latter of whom has taken over investigative responsibility in all aspects.
