And here we go. I've previously done a review on the 2022 Vapid Sandstorm 2500 Super Duty. (https://face.gta.world/posts/617260) and I was quite surprised by the technologies and features available there. Loved it! And here I'm quite curious to know, how does the cheaper regular cab version is compared to its big brother.

𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧'𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐝. 𝐏𝐭. 𝟒 | 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝐕𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝟏𝟓𝟎𝟎 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐛.

And yeah, as I always mention in every Sandstorm reivew, for 47 years, the Vapid Sandstorm is the most popular truck in The United States, due to a huge variety of engines and modifications, being quite versatile for every buyer. This one, is the cheapest and the most basic truck available in the Vapid Sandstorm lineup at the moment.

Being freshly redesigned in 2024, the Vapid Sandstorm lineup looks a bit nicer than the 2022 models and a lot nicer than the 2020 models. Updated grille, taillights, front fascia, headlights (even being halogens on our XL trim level truck). Just everything here screams modern and I can't complain. It looks the way it should look like and that's why I'm happy. I'm not a huge fan of these, but it's a great design, there is no doubt.
The Sandstorms of the fourteenth generation are very customizable, people love to tune them for street and daily comfort and off-road usage. A lot of parts go bolt-on from higher trim levels, giving the owner a great platform to share their individuality.
The Vapid Sandstorm 1500 Regular Cab is the rarest version, because of the lacking practicality, compared to the other ones. And it's quite rare to see even in the countryside, not only on the streets.

Looks: ★★★★★ | Amount of aftermarket parts: ★★★★★ | Rareness: ★★★★★

Theoretically, this one should be the cool one to drive. Lightweight, short wheelbase, all-wheel drive. But Vapid can't make a flawless one. The truck I've reviewed is powered (I mean, underpowered) by a 2.7 Liter V6 engine, which produces only 325 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque. Twin-turbochargers don't help here and I'd prefer to stick with an N/A V8 due to the better reliability. Absolutely not fun to drive, not exciting at all. Just a truck with a V6 motor.
The car has showed 01:43.15 on our secret off-road test track, and it gives it the third place among all the off-roaders we've tested yet!

Personally, I love the new Vapid's interior styling. These look great, especially in tan or cream colors. Detroit fellas definitely stepped up their game in infotainment screens and since now every truck has climate-control as standard. Though, I'm really not a fan of the space usage in the cab, it could be a lot more spacious or even could be simply a crew cab. This truck can seat only two people and it's a serious issue.
Great pricing, relatively inexpensive. This is probably the cheapest brand new truck you can buy at the moment from Vapid's dealership. And it's sort of an achievement too.
And the value? Well, the value isn't here. It's not a bad car, but you definitely shouldn't buy it brand new. The particular one has some miles on it, but also a quite expensive security package and it's available at #HayesAutos for a discounted price! They also have a huge variety of other pickup trucks, packing a lot better value in my opinion.

Well, this is a great vehicle, but you shouldn't buy it, if you aren't a company and you're creating a fleet of vehicles OR you aren't an off-roading enthusiast OR you need a truck with a big bed OR a regular cab is your choice. But overall, the truck is a great addition to the Sandstorm lineup.
