Doubled down this week as I was alerted to drive the #CrowexMotorsports RaTec-built Issi RX car in the LS Bets Rallycross Championship. Went in with eight laps of practice and the intention to just have fun, walked home with a P2 finish from the final. 2024 is officially underway as my racing season started last Sunday, competing in the CMSA-sanctioned Diamond GT3 Pro series at Sandy Shores. After a difficult qualifying, I was able to bring home P3 from the Sprint race, and P2 from the feature race. Field is immensely competitive this year, thus I'll be looking forward to seeing how it all plays out in the following four months! Thank you to #CrowexMotorsports and #RatecMotorsportsEngineering for providing me with another car capable of race-winning pace. What a statement, what a dominating performance from [apotheosis] aboard our own tuned and refined Paragon GT3. 🏆🏆 Quinten achieved a double podium conquering the top step twice in a row bringing home full points for the first #GT3 event sanctioned by #CMSA. Stefan had a rough weekend being involved in a racing incident with #EsmeraldaJimenez 's Comet S2 GT in the first race ending his race prematurely with a DNF. The second race saw him still suffering from the earlier impact and the car being visibly damaged achieving only a tenth place fighting off as much as he could. At the moment the gap in the Constructors Championship is just 2 points between the first and the second team. We are looking to grab the first spot in the next races from #CrowexMotorsports! HAPPY NEW YEAR PROMOTION! 🤩 What better way to start the year than with a promotion, this New Years Eve we saw our interim Crew Chief [unicorn] gain his permanent role as the head of the team. The whole team is thankful for his ongoing effort to support the team throughout the difficult racing seasons that closed the year off. Zadd tells me about how this isn't his first time in a position of this magnitude, in terms of responsibility. "While it is a tad bit different to my past experience running a team competing in pro drifting.. motorsports is motorsports at the end of the day!" Reflecting on the year just past and going forwards, Zadd is open about their choice not to race in the AM Cup. "We've got a solid driver like up and an even stronger team to support them. Not competing in the AM series has allowed the team a well deserved rest, [..] so we can head into 2024 with full force." Coming into the new year with such promise he speaks to his team, "Let's make 2024 a year to remember. I'm confident in the abilities of each and every one in our team, let's convert that into even more success stories moving forth!"
