I believe we're at a point now in our term where we have delivered on every single one of our campaign promises, we have completely overhauled all the major departments and put proper processes in place, renovated important buildings - brought a face to the City Government, and started some incredible initiatives, people are civically engaging once again and I couldn't be prouder. Takes me back to Mayor Preston's comment on our victory to Los Santos Insider:
"I want to thank everyone, regardless of where they placed their support, but know that my job now lays in upholding the well-being of everyone in our city. The tasks before me are large, and the responsibilities even bigger in scale. Know that even if you felt that I was not your ideal candidate, that I will continue to fight for every person in our city, from jobs, economic security, to their physical health. I will let no injustice be sowed and no voice left unheard. Believe in a better Los Santos." - Mayor Hank Preston, September 10th 2023.
I feel confident in saying that our administration has delivered - in short, that is down to our Mayor
Hank Preston, our incredible pick for City Operations Officer
Natalia Rane, and each of the members of the Board of Directors, past and present, who lead our municipal departments. A huge thank you to all of you.
I'd like to also give a special thanks to the Police Department's
Chief Dwayne Burke and
Assistant Chief Michelle Li, as well as the Fire Department's former Chief Leonardo Holman and former Assistant Chief Casey Harper, wishing the best of luck to their new leadership. The same goes for all the men and women out there who put their lives on the line everyday to serve this city.
Our campaign slogan rings so true today - Believe in a better Los Santos. We've done so much, and we're not done yet, there is much left to do.
