• 11/13/2024 - Sacred Hearts Homeless Shelter - Misson Row

Three of our committed friends today attended The Sacred Heart Homeless Shelter, an establishment which advertises itself as follows; The Sacred Heart Shelter, founded in 2023, is a haven for those in need located in the heart of Mission Row, Los Santos. Managed by Doctor Sade Aliz, Harumi Tokugawa, Maya Shevchenko and Thiago Athanas, the shelter provides essential services including meals, temporary housing, and community support. With a mission rooted in kindness and care, The Sacred Heart Shelter aims to uplift the vulnerable, offering hope and stability to the city's homeless population.

Upon our arrival, our auditors inquired with the lady receptionist, who was initially pleasant but her tone soon changed upon being asked about how the locations funding is allocated and how it is distributed. The persons working here claim to be "VOLUNTEERS," but we soon had confirmation that they do in fact claim a weekly wage from the PUBLICLY FUNDED money they receive.

Our auditors were soon joined by Senator Diane Jones, contact number is 5552416 who, along with the crowd of staff and residents began to become hostile and crowd the auditors. It was soon clear that there was no transparency to be found in regards to how the funding that WE as taxpayers give to this location is allocated and/or distributed.

At this point our auditors were asked to leave which they would have done so immediately HOWEVER..they were soon set upon by an angry, bare chested, smoking resident who ASSAULTED one of our brave auditors, sending his recording equipment to the ground. This "RESIDENT!" is clearly known to Senator Diane Jones who immediately tried to hide the offender who she referred to as Tawfiiq before law enforcement arrived.

Shortly after fifteen officers and Sheriffs arrived much to the auditors relief as the crowd within the shelter were growing in size and aggression! Accounts were taken of the auditors and footage of the assault was provided to officers.

It is at this point our auditors experienced police incompetence, which left them let down by those who had been sent there to keep them safe. The police response was led by Police Sergeant 16460, Torrez who initially stated that he would be trespassing the auditors but was soon informed that he lacked the grounds to do so due to the lack of a presence of any crime or disorderly conduct taking place. The auditors found themselves circled by the entirety of the police response while the violent thug Tawfiiq was left to roam and intimidate the auditors, having already assaulted one and having caused damage to his recording equipment!

It was at this point Senator Diane Jones called an officer aside and had clearly told them what would be happening as the officers showed that they had no intention of handling the criminal investigation and providing justice to the victim of the assault. The officers were told that Officer 39396, Pruitt would be the officer handling the investigation, and he again said he would not be arresting the male. Only upon being told that a complaint against the officer's conduct would be submitted did Officer Pruitt go inside to speak to the suspect, only to only return shortly after and state that the individual had been left to leave the location by the fifteen officers present.

Officers were also seen to remove a quantity of controlled drugs from the location with no persons appearing to be arrested.

Is this what WE should pay our tax dollars for? For a location which allows drugged up, violent thugs to do as they please with no accountability? I say Sacared Hearts Homeless Shelters needs reform! As for the officers and their actions at the scene? They have FAILED to safeguard the residents of Mission Row with a violent thug now roaming the streets.

Audits like these are essential to remind AMERICANS of our rights under the constitution and bill of rights in regards to the power we have to hold corporations and authority accountable.

Images from the audit will be placed in the comments!

  • We are thrilled to announce that The Bordeaux Foundation has made a substantial food donation to The Sacred Heart Shelter! 🥖🍎 Thanks to the generous partnership with Harmony Hills Farmer's Market, we’ve provided a wide range of nutritious food to help ensure that nobody goes hungry in the coming months.

For full transparency, this donation cost $170,000—a significant investment we’re proud to make in our community’s well-being. 💙

At The Bordeaux Foundation, we believe that every person deserves access to basic human rights, including food security. We are deeply committed to supporting those in need, and this donation reflects our mission to uplift and protect vulnerable communities, especially in these challenging times.

A big thanks to Melanie Winslow from Harmony Hills and Harumi Tokugawa from Sacred Heart for helping to coordinate this donation.

  • Just wrapped up my shift cooking at Sacred Heart Shelter today, and I had the pleasure of working alongside fellow volunteer Bryce Knox. It's always an honor to help, but there's still more work to be done. The shelter is in need of more employees and volunteers to keep making a difference. If you're interested in lending a hand, reach out to the wonderful miss Maya Shevchenko 2066📲 to get involved. Every bit of help counts! #GiveBack #CommunitySupport #SacredHeartShelter #WarmMealsWarmHearts
