    ARE STUDENTS SAFE ON CAMPUS?
    Written by Eleanor Larsen

In the run-up to Spring Break, campus has been quiet lately... but behind closed doors, the security scene certainly has not. With the Director of Campus Security making headlines for all the wrong reasons, a shift in leadership following the Chief's resignation, and growing concerns from our fellow students about campus safety, it's becoming increasingly difficult to remain confident about the support we are receiving during our studies.

  • So bit of a political question, this is more for the die hard Trumpists like that ULSA security chief.

So when are we accepting that the Trump administration is insane? They deport migrants to El Salvador. You may think oh based they shouldn't be in the country anyway.

Now they're threatening to prison and fine any tourists staying more than 30 days if they don't register with the federal government regardless of visa or anything. From any country.

And they also want to deport *US citizens* to El Salvador quoting Trump that he wants them to build five more prisons for "home-growns". Do you not realize the insanity of this? Do you think it won't affect you? They already deported someone who had zero crime, was legal to be in the US and they knew he wasn't the one but they decided to do it anyway.

    It is insane.

  • ULSA Drama Club shaping a new generation of actors and writers.

Yesterday, our debate room was filled with quiet whispers as young upcoming actors practiced their lines before hitting the stage during the newly-formed ULSA Drama Club's first casting session.

ULSA Drama Club was founded by our talented students to spread the love for the art of theater and provide practical experience to it's members by organizing their own stage plays.

  • The following was an April Fools post:

๐Ÿ“ฑULSA partners iFruit in pursuit of expanding our Athletics Department ๐Ÿ“ฑ

As part of ULSA's 2025 Athletics Development Program, we have shifted our focus on significantly expanding our athletics department by establishing new sports teams that provide our students with a lot of new opportunities.

Therefore, we are happy to announce the 1st of 24 new teams that will be incorporated into our sports program this year. In partnership between iFruit and ULSA, the iFruit X ULSA Beavers Cell Phone Throwing Team will be making it's debut in the 2025 US Mobile Phone Throwing Championships, which will be held on April 31st in Jacksonville, Arkansas.

Make sure to follow us on social media to stay up to date about our results. If you'd like to learn more about the sport itself, follow the link below:

  • Statement of Chief Justice Jennifer A. Scherer, of the Supreme Court of San Andreas, on the creation of the new Commission on Access to Justice & Public Outreach and the renewal of the Commission on Judicial Performance:

"I am excited to announce the creation of our Commission on Access to Justice & Public Outreach, along with the renewal of our Commission on Judicial Performance. Whereas the latter aims at ensuring that our Courts work efficiently and judicial misconduct is thoroughly studied, our Commission on Access to Justice & Public Outreach will serve as a connection between our Courts and the community. Some of the first programs I'd like to see implemented are tighter links with ULSA and educational institutions to bring our youth closer to our Courts, to learn and experience part of it, along with a "Coffee with a Judge" program. These are ground-breaking programs that have never seen the light in our Judiciary and its history, and only under my leadership and our fresh commission will they create enough impact to improve our community and access to justice."
