Saturday, training day - Members of D platoon participate in a skills training hosted by the leader of our climbing cadre, Officer Carvalho. Carvalho instructs his fellow D Platoon element members in the proper techniques of ascent and descent. D platoon responds to a variety of incidents requiring varied specialised skills. The LSPD Metropolitan Division will be holding an open house session at our station, the Metropolitan Division Facility, on Saturday, 10th June, at 5 P.M. Come on down, meet our officers, get a K-9 Plushie and see our equipment and where we work. We hope to see you all there!
