Hey its your favorite hood blogger Zaay tapping in with something a little different. We had "All Cash Empire" artist LuhQuiller in the building and he sat down with me to break down his life behind the music and breaks down the struggles he faced coming up in the rap game.

LuhQuiller is one of the hottest rappers in Los Santos right now but not much is known about his background and who he is BEHIND THE MUSIC. I got to ask him a few questions about growing up in Chamberlain Hills, catching a attempted murder charge, getting signed for $600k-2 Mill and more...

One of the first questions I asked LuhQuiller was how was it growing up in Chamberlain Hills? What was some of the struggles he faced coming up in such a dangerous area?

He immediately answered me and said " Man as a lil nigga coming up I ain’t really have nobody to look after me other than my big cousin. He wasn’t really the smartest dude when it came to making good decisions either. But I grew up looking up to him and I ended up getting put on and bangin blood cause that’s the shit you think is cool when you a lil nigga. I was doing dumb shit just like my cousin at about 15-16. I did a lil time for attempted murder. But they went easy on me cause a nigga was young as fuck so I only had to sit for 2 years."

I was shocked after hearing about how he caught a attempted murder charge and asked him to elaborate on that if he could, how did a kid around 15 years old find himself in that type of situation?

LuhQuiller hesitantly replied and stated "I mean shit..fuck it I already did time, So basically I was beefing with some niggas from somewhere can’t remember where they was from but they was fasho mexicans, I was like young as fuck driving my cousin lil benefactor and i’m doing my business in the car with some music playing an shit, them niggas spot me in the whip hopped in my shit and they used my ipod charger that’s in the back seat on me tryna strangle me but a nigga like me ain’t stupid so I move up far as fuck I break away from the charger and hopped out the car. Them niggas hopped out too and I let it blitz on they ass off rip. My public defender tried to say it was reasonable but them niggas wasn’t seeing that shit cause the gun still wasn't registered. So yeah them mexican niggas survived. And I’m doing time."

I responded back and asked "How was your experience while doing time? Did it change you? Motivate you to rap and leave the streets alone?"

LuhQuiller: "Jail ain’t really change me cause I still was doing dumb shit after, but I can say what made me start to rap seriously was when my cousin died while I was locked up.. And uh I already was a underground rapper for a minute like I knew how to rap it wasn’t good but I knew how.. I came out tryna get on my feet doing the rapping shit on the side cause I had to get a real job while on probation. So I was one of them downbad niggas handing out my CDs n shit back in the day."

Funny how life works, you can be rock bottom one minute & a millionaire the next after a few months of grinding in Los Santos. I moved on from the "street life" questions and asked LuhQuiller to name the top 5 WestCoast rappers that inspired him to rap and he named "Snoop, The game, Kendrick, E-40 and Ice cube".

I respected how he had some real OGs in there and not just all new age artists.

LuhQuiller was only rapping for 6 - 7 months after his release from jail and signed his first deal with VMG then signed another deal with "All Cash Empire" estimated to be worth around $600,000 - $2,000,000 a few months after the VMG deal.

I asked the rapper how was he able to secure that deals after only a few months of rapping seriously?.

"I was making money on the side performing at parties and shit. But I was trying to get signed and rap full time forril. I tried to get in contact with Raheme Bell shit worked out actually. He told me he would think about it. He checked out my music and wanted to sign me at first... But now that I look back on it I feel like I would've made WAAY less money signing that deal... But I told the nigga I had a show. And he said he would pull up. It was at Bahama Mamas and shit so It was a pretty big event. I fucked that shit up no lie, I ain't have no DJ so I just had my shit on auto. And my music kept fucking up replaying and shit and Raheme was not jacking it. So he pulled my label offer so I was back in the dirt. Couple days later this nigga Tony Vauntana from LC wanted to fly me out and perform at his club. I said aight bet I pulled up I performed an killed it. He also owned a label and was talking WAAY bigger numbers than Magnolia or what I thought Nolia was finna give me. Niggas gave me a BIG bag, but after a couple months my contract was over with VMG and my nigga Tony retired or some shit and it was no nigga to take over. So he got me up with my nigga GP TONE, RIP. But basically GP Tone and my nigga Maystar brung back Maystar's old label an shit, I think it was called TML at the time ( now called All Cash Empire ) And they dropped one of my biggest songs "Stolen" officially and I never looked back. If I didnt go through all of that with those labels I wouldnt be where I'm at now."

I went on to ask LuhQuiller did he invest his money or save it after being signed? he went on to state "I blew alotta that shit on cars, I copped me a STX and a Corquette right after I signed my deal with All Cash Empire." "What did you drive before the deals tho?" I curiously asked him. He replied "I had me a lil maibatsu penumbra nothing too crazy but I had to get from point A to B so I was working with what I had."

"From a Maibatsu to a Corquette, thats a BIG upgrade! But who would you say are some of the key people to your success?" I asked LuhQuiller before he responded saying " Myself, GP Tone RIP, Maystar, every artist that has publicly cosigned me during my come up such as Doux, Roadrunna, RT Kae and everyone apart of the ALL CASH EMPIRE team."

I started to wrap up the interview and asked him about what projects was he pushing right now? When did he plan on releasing another project? LuhQuiller cracked a small smile before replying "I have plenty of projects recorded right now, but I ain't planning on pushing anything till I finish my upcoming tour. Speaking of my tour I got two shows in LS on the 3rd and 4th of March, both of my shows are at the vinewood bowl then Imma be out of state for the rest of my tour."

I asked him "How is being signed VS being independent? Are you happy in this deal?" He replied "Being signed, you have more organization with your money and where it's coming from because you have more people doing shit for you than you doing it your self. Hell yeah I'm happy where I'm at right now.

I asked rapper LuhQuiller if he had anything to say before we ended the interview, he swiftly replied back and said " Go stream Walk Down the album & get yo motion up. Its ya boy LuhQuiller and I appreciate yall for putting this together having me here."
