  • I thought I'd share a delicious recipe for anybody wanting to try something new and simple. It's my families variation of their national potato pancakes, the only difference is that we stuffed them with ground pork. They're called Draniki (дранікі) which translates to shredded up, referring to the potato pieces.

Five potatoes (Russet if you're budgeting, yukon gold for a superior taste and texture.) grated.
    One onion, peeled and grated.
    One large egg.
    Three tablespoons of all-purpose flour.
One tablespoon of sour cream (For mixing.)
One teaspoon of salt, or to taste.
Half a teaspoon of black pepper, or again to taste.
Cooking Oil (Vegetable oil if budgeting, olive oil for a treat.)
One and a half pounds of ground pork.

They're super affordable at around $8.00 for all the ingredients from Davis LTD. They're also delicious with a topping of scrambled eggs, dill or applesauce. Enjoy trying something new! 🇧🇾
