  • It has come to my attention that there is another attempt to re-enact the death penalty.

This new bill is ironic, as executing people is an old barbaric and terroristic method itself. The current law, which is a life sentence without the option of parole for the most extreme cases, is the best solution. There have been countless of mistakes made with death penalty cases. You can revert a prison sentence, but you cannot revert an execution.

Let us please not bring Medieval and barbaric practices back to our great State, we are better than that. I appeal to the GOP to withdraw this bill proposal, and call upon the masses to organise a peaceful protest against the death penalty should this not happen. Let your voices be heard. This can’t go through.
