With concern for the ongoing investigation into the case, we urge everyone patience. We will not be releasing any information related to the victim or potential crime in question. We have been and will continue to be cooperating with the police department.

The Democratic Party never held any meetings or rallies in the Pacific Bluffs Resort on the date of the incident. If such was the case, it would have been advertised
The Democratic Party never employed and does not employ a private security detail for its members. And even if we did, their presence would be public and advertised, and not hidden in civilian clothing
The Democratic Party does not answer to extortion. Trying to profit from the death of a human being is reprehensible and illegal, and we will not stand for it.
