Yesterday at around 12:25 AM, a tragedy struck near Rub Street and Bay City in Vespucci as a gang related shooting shattered the tranquility of our beloved community. Thanks to the coordinated efforts of the Gang Enforcement Team, as well as the Operation Safe Streets Detail, the Operation Safe Streets successfully seized six firearms, along with an abundance of ammunition ranging from pistols to submachine guns. We're deeply saddened by this incident and extent our heartfelt sympathies to the families that have been affected by this senseless violence.
