After approval of the Q2 Municipal budget, my office is aiming to unveil two significant initiatives by the end of May.
First up is the tax stimulus program, enabling residents to document their local tax payments and potentially receive up to $10,000-$20,000 biannually.

Additionally, in collaboration with the Southern District Councilor, we're set to introduce a new waste management program aimed at making our neighborhoods cleaner for South Los Santos. This initiative will also provide a boost to local businesses that secure contracts through the bidding process. #LSGOV

LSSD Operation Safe Streets Bureau added a photo

This morning at approximately 0300 hours, Operation Safe Streets conducted a series of arrests in collaboration with the Senora Sheriff's Station at a property on East Joshua Road, bringing several local repeat offenders into custody. These individuals were wanted for violent felony assault and battery, against a group of our very own patrol deputies.

Without provocation, they cowardly, and brazenly attacked attacked our deputies in broad daylight as they tried to carry out their duties, upholding the law and keeping the community of Sandy Shores safe. Despite some offenders still remaining at large, the arrests we've made thus far serve as message to the community, we will always remain committed to upholding the law and bringing justice to those who threaten the safety and well-being of our community.

Following recent challenges faced by Davis Highschool and expansion of the Department of Health and Welfare, my office proposed nearly $40 million in funding for both. Additionally, I have included a $10 million baseline renewal to prevent future education budget crises.

C.B 002 - Municipal Business Code of 2024
C.B 003 - 2030 Sustainable Development Goals Commitment
C.B 004 - PHASE I City Sanitation Services Appropriations
C.B 007 - Municipal Q2 Appropriations Act of 2024

The floor will also be open to members of the public to discuss, suggest, or raise concerns to the City Council. #LSGOV
