- This issue of the Prestige magazine holds a special place in my heart. First of all, I got to be on the cover and with all humility I must say, I ate. 💅
Secondly, Isaac Slater wrote an amazing four-page article about our very first exhibition as the Los Santos Art Collective and I honestly couldn't ask for higher quality writing. Big thanks to the editor-in-chief of the magazine and my very dear friend Chloe Hendricks for giving us this great spot in the magazine and making sure the layout is as beautiful as it can be! 💖This issue of the Prestige magazine holds a special place in my heart. - During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are honored to work with brands and departments to raise awareness about breast cancer. We've planned a hair donation event, where [HairByJules] will do us the honor of donating the hair of participants and Aisha will be serving guests delectable Soul Food! We will offer free food and free music for people to enjoy throughout the event, whether or not they choose to donate hair. We cannot wait for the various departments to speak, for our guests to learn something new, and for everyone to present to enjoy the event! 🩷
Don't forget to attend the event on Saturday, October 28 at 7PM! Please refer to the poster for more details regarding the event's location and for additional information regarding the intention of the event. Lastly, we would like to express our gratitude to the Public Defender's Office for authorizing this joint event to raise awareness about breast cancer awareness! 🩷

- I'm curating this exhibition, so you better not miss it! #LSACI'm curating this exhibition, so you better not miss it! #LSAC"Nightmares: the gone and what is yet to come" emerged as our thematic inspiration during the spooky Halloween season. While this time of year is typically associated with fun and festivities, LSAC aims to delve into a more cerebral aspect of fear. Our intention is to explore the notion of fear within the collective imagination, emphasizing that the emotion is often rooted in memories or projected onto the future, rather than solely based on the present moment.
We firmly believe that fear is a complex interplay of experiences, with the mind weaving connections between the past and the future to conjure its own unique nightmares. Memory and imagination serve as the conduits through which we process and manifest our fears. In this upcoming exhibition, we will spotlight the interconnection of these three pivotal elements—memory, imagination, and fear—across the various art pieces that will be featured.
