On the 28th of September 2023, a uniformed Gruppe 6 Security Officer was arrested for the murder of a Los Santos Sheriff's Department Detective. We can confirm that the shooter is currently in custody and has been arrested and is being charged with Capital Murder. Our Station Detectives are working alongside the Homicide Bureau to gather all the details behind the shooting and release a full statement regarding the shooting. #LSSD

While most people were asleep, #LSSD Deputies from Senora Sheriff's Station were hard at work trying to detect and prevent intoxicated drivers. The Los Santos County Sheriff’s Department reminds drivers that a “DUI Doesn’t Just Mean Booze.” Prescription medications, over-the-counter drugs and marijuana can also impair, especially in combination with alcohol and other drugs. Driving under the influence (DUI) can have serious consequences. Call a friend, call a cab, or use a ride share app but make the right call. Don’t Drink & Drive!

#LSSD Deputies and Detectives from the Senora Station Detective Bureau, North County Crime Impact Team, and the Taskforce for Regional Autotheft Prevention (TRAP) conducted a month long operation last month to detect and prevent armed robberies in the County of Los Santos. A total of 31 firearms have been seized and 23 felony arrests have been made since August 13th. Great work keeping our streets safe!
