  • The Senora Sheriff's Station is seeing a rise in home and commercial break-ins.

In response, the Central Patrol Division in coordination with the Detective Division has formed a Burglary-Robbery Task Force to combat the rising property and violent crimes in our valley.

This Task Force consists of Detectives, Deputies, and Supervisors of various different assignments, tasked with the vigilant area saturation, immediate response, and thorough investigation of any burglary or home invasion in the North County area.

This task force is lead by Lieutenant C. Mauer, a Senora Station supervisor, and can be reached at [email protected] if you have any information regarding criminal activity in the North County area.

  • Good morning Senora Valley!

Over the past few weeks, Senora Sheriff's Station has responded to several burglaries in our Grapeseed and Paleto Bay areas.

On the 10th of March, 2025, Senora Deputies responded to a burglary alarm in the Grapeseed area. A Lieutenant responding noticed a vehicle fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed and driving recklessly. The Lieutenant pursued the vehicle. Other Deputies responded to the home and found it disheveled and clearly burglarized. The Scientific Services Bureau responded and collected forensic evidence.

Lieutenant Hoffman, with the assistance of several responding Deputies, was able to apprehend the evading driver. A seventeen year-old juvenile female was arrested for Burglary, Grand Theft Auto, Possession of Burglary Tools, and Evading a Peace Officer.

  • In light of the string of burglaries plaguing our area, Deputies remain vigilant and constantly present in our high-value target areas.

On the 9th of March, 2025, Deputies noticed a male subject loitering near a commercial property in the Paleto Bay Area after hours. A short while later, the commercial property reported a burglary alarm. Deputies were able to locate the subject they previously saw loitering at the property and engaged in a consensual encounter.

The subject consented to a search of his person, and he was found to be in possession of burglary tools.

Sebastian Garza was arrested for Possession of Burglary Tools.
