- LAFAYETTE FAMILY STATEMENT POSTED ON BEHALF OF LATANYA LAFAYETTE, DAUGHTER OF DIONNE AND AVE:
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of my mother, Dionne Lafayette, who succumbed to her battle with cancer at the age of 54. Losing our father, Avery, in June was also extremely upsetting blow, and now, with the loss of our mother, our hearts are broken.
I knew them as loving parents, despite their faults, who grew up in the poorest neighborhood and communities of Los Santos.
We ask for privacy and understanding as we navigate through this difficult time.
