  • Another day of helping out. Today SWAT Tactical Medics from D-platoon assisted LSFD with their blood drive, manning one of the booths and helping to take blood. Blood is always in short supply and we thank everyone who came out today to donate. You helped to save lives.

  • Another training for the Underwater Dive Unit (UDU) today, this time we were focusing on evidence recovery from a submerged vehicle.

"Vehicle" located in the body of water north of the dam. Our divers gained entry to the vehicle and found items inside, and trailed behind the vehicle from a supposed direction of entry.

Great work today from our puddle pirates!

The Underwater Dive Unit is the Los Santos Police Department's primary responsibility for water-related incidents where one or more of the facets of the incident require an underwater or specialist, water-borne response to preserve life or aid in the assistance of crime prevention as per the Los Santos Police Department's mission.

  • End of Watch message for Lieutenant II Darnell Walker (serial number 48018) who resigned from the department after 23 years of service with the Los Santos Police Department.

Lieutenant Walker joined the department in 2001 before being assigned to the Mission Row Patrol Division where he finished his Field Training Program and remained in the division for a few years as a patrol officer.

Lieutenant Walker then moved to the Metropolitan Division before he joined the Special Weapons And Tactics Team - D platoon and that is where he spent the majority of his career. He started as an Element Leader, then continued as a SWAT Sergeant, and lastly, as a Lieutenant Assistant Officer in Charge. After a few years of hard work, he was finally promoted to the Officer in Charge of SWAT.

During his time in the department, Lieutenant Walker always helped and motivated all department employees regardless of their rank. He was a great mentor and a leader to the men and women under his charge.

The entire LSPD and especially the Metropolitan Division wish you only the best in the years to come and you will be missed by your colleagues and friends. Thank you for your service and enjoy your retirement.
